History of
Barrington House
Barrington House is a beautiful historic brick home located in the historic district of Barrington, Illinois. It dates from 1894, and has been lovingly restored. This is the only known historical photo of Barrington House taken around the turn of the last century. The photo shows Barrington House in the background, on the left, with its two distinctive tall chimneys. This photo can be found on page 80 of the Tales of Old Barrington. The boys in the photo sit in a cow pasture which later became Station Street.
